RePLAY™ was created to restore paved
asphalt surfaces and is proven to reverse the oxidation process, while
maintaining the skid resistance of any paved asphalt surface.
Get the
advantage over conventional surface seals and forget about costly
repaving. There is no need for expensive seals that don’t
work and actually make the surface more slippery. What makes RePLAY™
stand out from the competition is that our process introduces new SBS
and SBBS polymers to the mix. As these polymers chemically bond to the
oxidized asphalt, it reverses their weak condition and strengthens the
surface.
When used every three to five years,
our process creates a perpetual road that saves you the high cost of
repaving. On average, our customers save between 300 and 500% of their
total cost versus conventional applications. Regular applications of
RePLAY™ strengthen and maintain existing pavement for a fraction of the
cost
of laying new pavement. RePLAY™ is designed to enhance the
performance and longevity of the paved surfaces below.
The eco-friendly solution isn’t just for
streets and roads; it’s perfect for highways, trails and
bike paths, parking lots, and even runways and taxiways. RePLAY™ does
not negatively impact skid resistance, and, in fact, helps maintain
skid resistance and reduces dangerous conditions compared to other
sealcoats.
Carbon Negative Solutions for a Better Environment In
the Spring of 2009, a LCA BEES Assessment was conducted on RePLAY™,
where it was compared to a competitive,
petroleum-based product. The report determined that RePLAY™ has almost
40% more favorable total life cycle environmental performance as it is
carbon negative.
Simply put, this means that our solution does not contribute C02 to the
environment and it reduces the amount of
greenhouse gases in the surrounding environment. While other
seals are petroleum-based and harmful to the environment, RePLAY™ is
composed of 88% biobased material, including North America-grown soy
beans.
Save
Time
Within 15-30 minutes, RePLAY™ will cure in recommended spraying
conditions, and the flow of traffic can resume. Lane drop time
decreases considerably compared to other conventional preservation
methods.
Save Labour
As soon as the surface has been cleared of debris, it’s ready for
RePLAY™. And after it has been sprayed, there’s no need to spread a
sand layer like with petroleum-based products, saving time previously
wasted. RePLAY™ is easily applied with our spray system that can be
controlled from the cab of the truck. No longer is it necessary to
have another person riding on back ensuring accurate application.
